We had come to watch the sunset fall, standing on a sun warm rock, we embraced; the sky was changing but it was a crawl, he held me close with his hands on my waist. The sky above was pale blue, mauve and gold, mingling and merging- the sun falling; love was soon ending with words still untold, around us a hundred birds were calling.
