Having Hope
Hope.. you try holding onto. You try having faith but you slowly noticed the water coming up to your legs.. Hope is always there they say, hope is all you need. Just have a little faith and play make-believe. Hope is long forgotten as the water rises. Hope is hard to hold on to when you're always crying. Hope is there but the people never are. They say have hope my friend and make it till the end but they don’t see you drowning. The water is up to your neck how you start to scream but everyone is passing you and those who stop tell you to play make-believe. you tried having hope and faith but there's only so much you can hold cause now the water is over your head but no one knows… have hope they say…. Have hope…. No one’s there for you… just hold on to hope as you take your last breath. The water keeps rising.
