My True Love Found
I met you in the modern way Where messages soon were flowing Even although we had never met A relationship was growing The day we met you waited For a few minutes I was late Nerves were soon abaited As we each had met our mate We found a quiet table Where hours passed quickly as we talked Shy smiles and stolen glances Then to my car with me you walked The next time was a formal date And flowers you did bring A movie was our choice to see. In the dark my heart did sing As fireworks lit up the sky I asked for our third date You thought this was an omen I knew it was our fate You told me that you loved me That I was so unique I knew by then I loved you too From your head down to your feet Such a short time since I met you Support and kindness you have shown For all that I been through I am loved - now not alone Our history just started A whole future still to live As still we learn the other My whole heart to you I give I once described my perfect man Not believing he could be For each and every word I wrote I now know you are he.
