Dark Side of Your Moon
Emotions... Anger and sadness, disappointed and embarrassed, feelings pour out, not knowing to end. Enshrouded, till it's hard to breathe. Agony hit hard on my chest, my aching heart finally breaks. Bleeding tears through my eyes, disappointment blocks my breathing... Heart beat slowing down... I'm at the brink of the cliff. But outside, as you see, I'm just a perfect little girl caught in your trap. For your laugh, I smile, But reality is an enchantment, I'm at my true self only at night. Safe from your cunning eyes that have mocked me through and through, I become one, inside and out. Laments softened, by pillows wet with tears. My tears kiss me back, as if they could console. Emotions pour out, but I do not feel. I've lost my footing, now that you threw me from the cliff. Time may walk slow till I recover, but at least you may know. If your stone cold heart would ever feel, that I died a little inside, when I saw the dark side of your moon. 2/10/2019
