There Was a Time
There was a time...of endless love Where our senses were abandoned and emotions fluttered like wings through welcomed spaces...one after another Where we claimed the right to rip away the curtain and lay our faces into the winds seeking emotions unexplored in a timeless dance of hungry passions Where we fell to Earth from thirst quenching kisses melting our lips with imagination Our journey hurled us into tomorrows where we lit our veins in flames of passion and burned the fingers of our hearts on the hot ashes of love making imprints of memories from fiery moments that dripped upon our skin like morning dew That dried and disappeared into unknown realms of what could have been had we harnessed the power of love which left us exhausted and tarnished by stains of unfulfilled promises when we touched each other's soul and found it was all an illusion Which left us waiting for one last tear... that would never come As we departed we knew... we would never pass this way again 2/5/19... contest One last tear
