Past lives I lead are far ahead. The good they had still hangs by a thread. To what must my body abide? For I must bury what died inside. But I'm not alone. Others wish to be whole. Long after they've lost control. They were by my side because I'm not the only one who has cried. Our stories told but left to still unfold. That has kept us bold. Because deep inside,we must fight not hide. And it won't be done alone. Insanity is current peace. Since all my struggles have yet to cease. I know I'm blind,it's all I see. The dark in you has grown out of me. And so I fade into the fall. Into something that's not there at all. A wise old king who lost his throne. This is my mind but it's not my own. But I won't go alone. I won't stay overthrown. For others will stay strong. And I'll do the same because we know we've all been wronged. Better futures await beyond the guarded gates. Enemies won't have our fates. We all know what's right. And soon we'll take flight. Because we are not alone.
