The Dragonfly That Saved Me
Get snuggled in bed and I will tell you a tale about a dragonfly who once saved me, this dragonfly was called Tony the most beautiful anyone has ever seen. He was flying through the air his wings moved so fast you could barely see, his speed was around 30 miles per hour but they only live for about seven months so that’s all the time he had to save me. It was a sunny afternoon on a Wednesday I believe and I was watering our plants and as you know I am allergic to bees and if I get stung I could die. Tony was flying around and teasing me he kept landing and when I got to close he would fly away, then he would come right back and land close to me again. We became good friends Tony and I we would play this game each day and then one day all of a sudden there were 30 bees trying to sting and attack me. I ran here and I ran there trying to get away then all of a sudden from out of the blue an Army of Dragonfly's came zooming through, they fought off these bees as if it was a fly war. They dove and dived hitting theses bees right between their eyes, after this battle was over Tony came and sat next to me looking at me, it was like he was trying to thank me for being his friend and giving him water to drink on those very hot, hot days. Tony then flew away and I have not seen him to this day. Sponsored by: Eve Roper Contest Name: A Fairy Tale For Children Dated Created: 01/25/2019
