Sad
Today I feel sad and depressed I shouldn’t feel like this The world around me is filled with bliss But I feel lonely. I just want someone to hold me. And tell me that this isn’t the end. That life is beautiful And worth to spend. I write when I’m sad like this. Taking time to reflect, On the pain I’m trying to dismiss. Along with people, I’m sorry. I’m sorry I pushed you away, I’m waiting for my brain to make the connection, That you of all people is the right direction. Instead I shut down, Just stay away. The nervous breakdown is coming my way. Hide yourself from the hurricane. And watch from afar, me go insane. I try and I try To make paint blue skies, But they turn to grey And I continue to stray Making me the prey Of all dreary feelings Inside and out I can’t take the doubt. But here it is On the lookout. Give me a chance. I don’t want to hurt you. But knowing what is true, You’ll leave me, Before I’d ever leave you.
