Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Abode of the Great Spirit known as Crater Lake, Native American's seeking a vision- this trail take; gazing into the gem blue lake with a deep ache, cradled by towering cliffs and ancient pines- it rests. In tangled pine branches there are spotted owl nests, on the cliff rim many warriors have preformed their quests; of great courage- that forever dwell in their breasts, and in my dream, I wish, wish for this place of deep blue. Where the sky and water merge for a dazzling view, and to a summer scene this Ojibwe girl's spirit soared and flew; standing in awe of the intense blue and trees that grew, from a sleeping volcano- that erupted thousand of years ago.
