All the town's people stayed far away from her opaque view she breathed only in silent shadows of the deepest shades of blue. As time withered on she withdrew into a cracked shell nobody cared to really listen and she was unwilling to tell. They say that the blueness was ignited many springs ago on a icy mountain ridge topped off with heartless snow. She had a young lover who presented her a diamond ring, on one knee he'd promised a rainbow filled with all her dreams. Chivalry strode up the mountain to make good on the vow, a late spring snow rushed in and the reaper began to howl. Caught mid stride, before he could make his way back down, he died on that snowy ridge- his soul escaped into a cloud. The next morning they brought him back down slowly drew back a blanket that she'd lovingly had woven she never cried a single tear but her spirit was split wide open. she gazed upon a spray of wildflower, he was true to his vow.
