As of June 24th 2018 There’s been 315 days since my Baptism by Water. There’s been 13,547 sunrises in my life to this day But only 592 of those days in which I have learned to pray And if I could turn back the hands of time And have just a percentage of the Faith that I have today There wouldn’t of been one day In which I walked along the path That completely led me astray... They say that the only way to find yourself Is to completely lose yourself But I know that thinking to be flawed I have learned as the world turns The only way to know yourself Is to consistently surrender to God I walk the Path that God has given For my instruction I’m just a humble man whose under construction There’s a God that loves us so much He wants to turn us away from our own destruction The Lord called my name and woke me And put an end to my old life Like the screen play called for an interruption Open your eyes And believe what you hear Scripture contains the message that the Kingdom is near Ready yourselves and listen It’s only God you should fear I don’t have the mind I used to have When I would listen to the devils whisper in my ear The age old dispute I now handle with good cheer I have been blessed with new life And it’s been over a year And I don’t ever tire Because I’m inspired To overcome what I fear I keep seeking And climbing Because I know Heaven is the highest tier Praying On the frontlines of the end times I know even Jesus prayed until His Blood Became His tears. I didn’t deserve a new life But the Lord didn’t let me drink of The cup that contained the culmination of all of my years He saved me from me gave me eyes to see And ears to hear The Word is the Life And the Life is the Light of all men Lord I’m looking for Your Will to be done Amen and amen I’m not looking for anything more than what I can handle A Believer needs light in the darkness And the Word of the Lord burns Brightly like a candle I found myself not asking what God can do for me, But I’ve been asking what is it I can do? Like a 180 I’ve come around And started to learn there’s not much That a God fearing Believer can’t do Love the Lord first Check Keep myself fully immersed Still working on it Withstand the trial and temptations Well It’s a daily challenge and one of my causes of frustration But I Build up my faith in the face of my tribulations Seek the Kingdom of God above all else Indeed From my mind to my heart From my mouth I concede I’ll follow You Lord wherever it is that Jesus will lead Forgive me Father the times I have slipped I’m learning not to fall flat But to fall upon my knees I lift my hands to You Lord Only You can provide what it is my heart truly needs This is an amazing time of my life The time in which I have been given the ability To believe.

God Fearing
