The Passion With Which I Write
I’m a renegade When the pen to page Sharp enough To give your tongue a fade Verbally I’m like a razor blade I cut straight to the point Ain’t got time to waste I’m not tryin to rap Cause I stay writing Strike 1000 times You can call me lightning Each verse that I write Is a bit of insight Living in the darkness of the world I shine so bright I’m Old enough to know better But Young enough to be better Have wisdom in my mouthpiece So what I speak makes life better But I’m straight betting That most of you Don’t know anything Besides your point of view You believe in any thing that’s misleading too Like Waters not wet and the sky’s not blue You Can’t see past the way you feel But the things I think I know you can’t deal Universal truth is way more than mass appeal And a lot of the time What you don’t see is way more real Your In over your head in the shallow end I’m over your head when I pick up this pen Writing with a severity You’d be blessed to see again So When the light shines bright Run and tell a friend Better yet you better look away That light will burn like the end of days Flash burn your intellect Til you feel pain Don’t blame me Don’t say my name You should never let anyone Ever Get the best of you Stand your ground through Trial and tribulations too The blessings will come When the time comes due It’s always best to give respect And only speak what’s true As for me I stay grateful To those that kept my plate full And Provided me with shelter When the world turned hateful Those that Prayed for me Those that Prayed over me Those are the ones that actually Showed love to me I will never forget what it’s like To feel defeat Beat, white flag waving Left for dead on the street Too much to carry But I’m still on my feet Your 100% mistaken If you start thinking that I’m breaking Earthquakin It’s gonna take a whole lot more than shakin To prevent me from reaching this finish line I’m living fine God gave me the sharpest mind And a slick ability to pen a rhyme I refine my focus from my cerebral cortex Straight through my medulla oblongata Because I do what I gotta Not focused on how I wanna Stop and take a breather My passions burning Like I’m fueled by straight ether Most of y’all can’t keep up with me either Burn out and burn up like you came down with a fever I believe in a Lord that will never Ever leave ya But Free ya, Blessed by the Lord Who wouldn’t wanna be ya? I can’t seem to put down Enough of these thoughts My pen starts smoking And the paper gets hot Sometimes this is all that I feel that I’ve got I keep taking my chances Last bullet in the barrel I’ve only got one shot But a little is a lot When God is in it With Him and through Him Is how to win it. I’m not looking for fame I’m not looking for glory I’m just playing my part In the Worlds Greatest Story...
