Anti-Social Butterfly
A social butterfly she is not Its certainly not you incase that's what you thought The stress wheel is constantly turning For inner peace her mind's constantly yearning Restless are thoughts that don't slow down She burns midnight oil on outskirts of the busy town Prefers to stay off the grid, far out of the action Mind seeks silent solitude to reach satisfaction Body seeks the comfort of human interaction Still, weary mind shys away seeking alternative distraction For not enough souls are filled with understanding compassion Kindness seems to be for some out of fashion Goes from overwhelmed and restless to feeling real low Feels like pity party train is better off riding solo Through her veins old skeletons and demons persist to flow Reminds herself frequently to breath in and out slow She won't come out and tell you of all of her pain Will try and cheer you up when you're caught in the rain Forgive her as she'll often isolate from connections, back to her cocoon will try to refrain For the feelings she struggles with take their toll and life they do drain
