I Hate You, I Hate You
The title that you spoke, Were supposedly the words that I provoked. Animosity ignited the flames, Because I was always to blame. Without a finger to point to your own fears, It was your tears that fell from closed eyes. The ones you never seemed to open, To see the words that were really spoken. My thoughts seemed to be overshadowed By your existence or maybe your persistence For this to be perfect But in the end it just wasn’t worth it. As you stand alone nearby I stood reflecting upon pictures that told stories about you and I. Now that flame burns bright with our pictures inside And with no tears to extinguish this fire there is no longer a place to hide. So open your eyes to the reality of this fire The one that consumes your life, Because I want you to realize that the end is here And I have a finger for you and your fears.
