I Left a Bad Reflection On Him
I was talking to this middle-aged man this morning. I'd say he was probably in his upper fifties or so. He wore a grayish-white beard and he had a few prominent wrinkles on his tired looking face. His glasses were filthy and they sat half crooked on his nose. His hair stood straight up and pointed in every direction you could imagine. I was a little harsh on the somewhat old-timer. I told him to clean his damn glasses because they were so darn dirty that I was surprised that he could even see me. Then, I told him to get his act together fast. The man must have been humiliated I'm sure, because he never said a single word back to me, but I could tell by the look on his face that he wanted to tell me some harsh words, I just laughed at him. Then, I did what I had to do. What is it "you ask" Well, I did what I do every other morning. I stopped brushing my teeth and I stopped looking in the mirror and I got my tired butt ready for work.
