I was afraid to let her beauty shine, my lovely diamond I would not share. So in total darkness I kept her blind, I shut the door and held her there. One day I took her out to see the sun, how she shimmered in those rays of light. When her moment in the sun was done, I put her in my pocket and shut it tight. Somewhere in the night she disappeared, for I had woke to find my diamond gone. The day had come that I had feared, the ray of light was taken from my dawn.
