Life's Hurdles
As life moves on I find myself taking time to reflect. But with that comes the unintentional need to inspect. Experiences through the years have left baggage behind. And though I try not to, they become foremost in my mind. Life happens quickly, it leads us from place to place. Keeping up with the changes becomes a high speed chase. An event occurs, I immediately and instinctively react. But the cause and effect may not be based on the same fact. There is little time to delve into an issue that is new. Because there is another life-changing event bearing down on you. I always hope that what we need we pick up along the way. To prepare us for the next hurdle that can come up the very next day. In reality there is no way that I can predict what is to come. I can only face whatever it is with what and where I came from. I accept the burden that life demands I bring along. The past, the present, with some of each, I will try to move on.
