Nor'Easter
When day turned to night, the darkness summoned the wind. It came swiftly, silently and light soon it rose higher, the clouds then thinned. It became stronger, power unleashed, catching the thinning clouds racing by. Together, their storm flourished, inviting rain to join them, and fall from the sky. This menacing trio advanced to the shore, letting all in it's path be aware. That steps were needed for it to be secure. Now was too late, it wasn't safe out there. The wind, the rain raged on through the night. The earlier silence was gone. Now the sound of wailing wind taking flight, was nature's lullaby heard all night long. As the light of dawn came filtering in, the rain was deciding to move on. The wind stayed, a reminder of what the night had been. By mid- afternoon the wind died, and was gone. It was a long, sleepless night for many. Feeling their floors move to and fro. Damages, fortunately there were none, not any, But it was quite a relief to see this storm go.
