What Did God Do On the Seventh Day
On the seventh day God rested. But that is not all God did on the seventh day. On the seventh day God created the first atom of matter that existed. He created the universe, the galaxies, the solar systems and the planets. On that day God created the stars and heavenly bodies. He also created Heaven, Hell and the angels. On the seventh day God created the Earth, the sky the land and the water. He created the birds and the insects, the fishes and all that swims in the seas. That day God created all land animals. He created man and woman and set into motion all the systems in the universe that sustains life. But wait you say, this is a contradiction. It also does not agree with scripture. The Bible says God did certain things on certain days. He did, he did these thing on our human time. He numbered the days and told us to rest on the seventh day to worship him. Yes, God did these things on separate days but also did them on the same day. How is this possible you say, it’s possible because God is at the beginning of time and the end of time at the same time. God is omnipotent, he did these mighty things at the same time while still resting on the seventh day to hear and accept our worship. Scripture describes these deeds on separate days for our Earthly time table. Scriptures are instructions for man to live by and we are to rest after a week of work and worship the mighty God whose time holds no barriers.
