They took the shilling and went, Wherever they were sent. Leaving loved ones far behind, Facing an enemy that wasn't kind. They fought in the deserts They fought in jungles and at sea, They fought in the air for you and me. They fight on still in a far off place, In lands that treat their own in disgrace. Everyone has a right from birth, To live in peace upon this earth. For this right to be given to All, Is why those troops fight and fall.
