NEW TIME SAME PROBLEM STILL PREJUDICE I am colored by my skin type is... Dark brown I am black If the color of my skin offends you, then Just close your, eyes close your eyes; Be surprised everything in the dark, is alike; We were created by a colorless God, how’s that; It’s not are physical being but our spirit that’s the real thing; That lives on, and on and on forever; New time, same problem still prejudice; I am American black; If I offend you then just step aside; No one says I am any better than you so you sigh; Yet no one should condemn me because I’m not you; There’s only one race and that’s the human race; Open your eyes look at my face; God has created this; And only one soul that we all know; Without skin, bone this here flesh is… Just a house for our spiritual man the soul; Is our true inner self, for without breath?
