My Dinner Date
After a busy day I had a bit of pocket change, my companion today had a different face. As I looked at my companion, lovable yet small, could not help turning first one Way and then the other way. "I know I have seen this place from a distance and yet now it the first time I have made it to this part of this place - It has been like a flash as I don't remember much from before," my friend said as green eyes peered at me from under a round, fluffy brown hat. "Well even though you and I have just met, I feel that we have known each other much, much longer." "Do go on," This friend said as a bit red slobber dropped onto a strangely formed mouth containing a very dark brown tongue. "Well for me it all began in my family's back yard, I can remember the delicious smell of meat wafting on the grill." "Meat you say?" He asked. "Yes that's right," I replied. "When we were a bit older. I always knew something good was up when we rode in our family's station wagon. Mostly these trips had to do with seeing my dad's friends or to go visit Relatives. I was always so happy to see my dad turn the car into the place where golden Arches were displayed and happy faced clown awaited to greet his guests. Two all beef patties, special sauce, cheese, lettuce, pickles. Such a wicked twist Designed to draw one back again and again. "I see," said my companion with green wavy hair. "You have more to tell I see," he says. "As time went on the place with the golden arches was no longer the only Draw. It seemed that all of a sudden there were two more clowns vying for my Attention. One merry gent was calling himself a king, the other fellow had a big Round white head, had a long pointy nose and wore a long pointy hat, he said His name was Jack. Both of them became equally famous in my eyes. To be sure the first clown will Always hold a very special place in my heart. Yet Jack is wise to put delicious tacos in his offered fare. " "Is that it or do you have more to tell?" as shiny white maybe a different shade Among his green hair also partially hidden beneath his brown hat started to shed a bit. "No more to tell," as I picked up my new pal.. "Can't we talk about this a bit more?" He said with certain anxiety. I drew him closer to my mouth and said, "where do you think that some of your relatives ended up?" Delicious from the first bite to the last. After I finished, and left the place of the Golden arches I knew I would have to walk my dog a little further that night.
