Enter Poem or Quote (Required) HOW SWEET IT IS I had just completed a Marathon, and felt as if I had run through every Galaxy in the Milky Way. I stopped by Wal-Mart to browse and cool down. While there, I ended up in the candy aisle. I checked in my Whatchamacallit to see how much money I might have in it only to learn I had Zero. My next door neighbor, the Jolly Rancher, happened to be there too so I borrowed $20.00 from him (I was hoping he only had 100 Grand on him and would deny my request) and started looking at all the different choices of candy. I immeciately knew that this was going to be a horrible visit since I have a hard time deciding what to buy. My friend would have to wait until PayDay for me to give him his money back so I just took my time like the Slo Poke that I am and browsed up and down the aisle. Suddenly, out of nowhere, came three boys dressed as the Three Musketeers. They were all eating candy of some sort so I asked them what they thought I should get. One immediately said you look like an Air Heads kind of guy to me. Another said no, he is definitely a real Butterfinger, at which they all got a case of the Snickers like the little Smarties they were and then scampered off to act like the unattended Goobers that frequent shopping malls. I was on a real Spree trying to make up my mind. I then decided to get one of everything. So what if I ended up a little Chunky. Hopefully, my wife would still love me and say, O Henry you're still the man for me. I wondered if Now or Later the three Goobers may show up again to spoil my shopping. I opened my Whatchamacallit and began to fill it with Dove, Mounds, Mr. Good Bar, Rocky Road, Skor, Skittles, Starburst, Tootsie Roll, Kit-Kat, Boston Baked Beans, Charleston Chew, Dots, Hot Tamales, Lemonhead, and wouldn't you know it, here come the little Nerds again. But as luck would have it, my good friends Mike and Ike and their brother, Heath showed up and scared them away. Now came the time for my check out. The only thing missing was an Almond Joy. As I strolled down Fifth Avenue on the way home, I looked at the beautiful hills surrounding our community and noticed the Sno-Caps from a light dusting of snow. Oh, by the way, I knew I had some Swedish Fish at home. They are real Whoppers. A great catch from a previous visit to Wal-Mart.
