A Request
O Lord I ask one thing of thee, that I might know this mystery. Proceed my child and we shall see, if you shall get thy wish from me. I want to hold in my hand, from thy precious glass a grain of sand. Ah! You require a moment of my time, a piece of Destiny's Devine. There is this part between futures past, I cannot grasp it, it doesn't last. Cease from your folly, you're wasting light, before you know, it will be night. The golden gap, now is that life? It's not enough for all this strife. For this sacred thread, you should not battle, in doing so it will unravel. Gave ye your warrior Joshua one added day to fight, as for me tis only right. Dare not compare nor have the notion, that you like he could stop this motion. Future comes and then it's gone, this space between is all that's known. Space you seek, a prison cell, for this reward for them that fell. It seems unfair this unrighteous deal, to make so short what is real. You know not for what you speak, this ancient line drawn in sand so deep. I only ask for this small favor, for this morsel is all I savor. If I left you in this line, you would not stand the test of time. What key will open door to cage, that you've constructed through fit of rage? Rage you say, I've sent my son, whom I adore. For this his body you pierced and tore. As for this speech, it must decline, for I alone own all the time. As for the expansion of your space, I own that too, it's my place. In the garden you left the tree, it's in the Book, no mystery. This you seek eternity.
