Higher on the golden throne;
The vivid glory of Wangchuck dynasty shines,
Epitome of magnanimity and fondness;
The protector of pious Bhutanese;
The real custodian of Choesid Nyeden;
Gesar,the great saviour of the Thunder Dragon.
The gem of Pelden Drukpa-
Who reigns the heart of Bhutanese soul.
The sovereign propeller of continued prosperity;
In human guise he descends the godly service:
For when we are stabbed by disaster,
His heart aches more.
He parents the orphan,betrayed and denied,
Helps the weak,sickened and pained.
Reaches to the who won't hear,
Love so soulful,so divine and dear
For in the gross darkness he is the saviour;
Such a sanctimonious care for his citizens.
How wondrous his gracious grace-
His deeds ,acts promising wish.
Braver than the man who will do what he must
Never had the thrones compose so rich a crown
Who would example to lead his men.
Can't there be any hurdle he cannot move.
Oh King, in you our soul has found
So much more than what we dreamt.
But too less the wisdom I possess to pen
To too many you showered I cannot name.
Glory to you my King!
May your charismatic reign continues to shine.
May the people be forever be blessed,
With our highest fidelity we offer you the prayers.
With love B B rai and Dawa Zangpo
