Your Melody Shines On
You made up a wondrous, precious melody inside me If I was sober and less numb, I would’ve felt it, baby Sick with that same ol' love flu, you know? But, this love flu isn’t contagious or for show This melody inside – Yes, I cannot hide Your melody will subside If that is so, my guilt is a river so wide However, your melody is my childhood ride Your melody was beautiful Your melody is truly eventful My harmony with others' didn’t work out With us, I feel love could happen again no doubt I gaze into your pokerfaced eyes of twinkling lullabies Boy, how time flies when you tell those white, little lies All I am left with is your farewells and goodbyes That’s such a wonderful way to lower my highs…….. I praise You, Lord, for putting me through a lot these Wild, uncontrollably worsening situations, so please…please… Put all of us at peaceable ease I'm getting weaker on bent knees These crooked soundtracks of insanity – my conscience is but a single hum It’s always reverberating through my numb cranium – What have I become? What have I become? Stepped on like ancient, cemented gum……. Understand that I was once on the spotlight And needed to sing my heart out all day and night Understand my flaws and showoff your compassion God will forgive your downfalls beyond mere passion… Sensual, sheer satisfaction is beyond interaction Love is a 4-letter word, but you prove it by action 'L' is for Loyalty forevermore, 'O' is for Overly optimistic for each other too 'V' is for vivacious and vitality and 'E' stands for Excellence that shines anew God will forgive you unconditionally Christ will save you from your fatality Reality is…your precious melody got me anchored under the seas' sparkling, cavernous sand Well, only God will understand where we will make a stand and when our airplanes will land Eventually, God will release me from feeling misunderstood with awfully bitter sorrow Our Father will definitely provide sweet relief from this grief, even if it takes till tomorrow Someday, somehow Someday, somehow Yesterday's gone Tomorrow's dawn Will see the endless scars underneath our splendid beautiful I am grateful for His Agape love, so I will no longer be mournful God is still giving us sun-shining, glorious melody That will last for an eternity, so don’t you worry Someday, somehow Someday, somehow Yesterday's here to stay Tomorrow’s a new day Your melody will definitely shine on Like the saturated clouds above us, hon Christ-like powers will cheer us on and be our gleaming sun And magnificent victory will be ours, for we welcome the son Countless puddles were made by raindrops that collapses from bitter clouds God's passionately exquisite spirit will be our flawless tragedy in reverse instead Let’s ditch the city-life, scattered with too many commotion-packed crowds God has given us what we need – our melody that's melted butter on fresh bread
