Velvety Velour
Twinkling stars confetti the night, conjuring a magical sight. And a molten moon starts to glow in the blackness of outer space. Held in night's ebony embrace Luna's light gilds the clouds below. Now observed by the naked eye, shooting stars unzip the night sky. And spinning perceptively slow, the Milky Way seems surreal; a spiraling galactic wheel superimposed on its shadow. Twinkling stars confetti the night, so far away and yet so bright. Quasars and pulsars twirling fast appear to flicker as they spin. Once those pulsating lights begin, the night's beauty is unsurpassed. The universe is God's domain; something we can't, as yet, explain. We don't know how long it will last; it may well expand forever. We see no end whatsoever, all we know is that it is vast. Look up to behold the grandeur of the night's star-encrusted sky, swaddled in velvety velour.
