If You Knew How I Felt
If you knew how I felt Love is the most sacred of emotions, like a holy endeavor that glorifies the human race. Love is the foundation of peace and serenity, granting this mundane world a form of purpose and it gives to us a sense of grace and honor that is far above that which we can reach on our own. To know love is to witness the divine. Twisting the faith and trust given to you and toying with that person is the sickest and cruelest thing you could do to someone who you say you love; it is a crime to everything good in this world. Give me death before betrayal. Is this world so dark that someone could be born with a heart so black and twisted that they could find a sense of joy or some sadistic thrill when torturing the person they love? To both corrupt their love and shatter the heart of the person they swore to love till death? To send that loved one from heavens embrace down into the shadows of Hell? I believe nothing could be more disgusting. When the heart breaks you can feel it implode From that heartless betrayal you’ll grow pale or explode But you cannot return that love and your fate Cause that trust and the bond she has twisted to hate You feel helpless before that void which was born Where the soul you once shared, through betrayal has been torn And that peace that you shared has been given away By the one you thought you could trust for the rest of your days
