Never Return
Never return 13/08/2018 Cumulonimbus gathering, Clouding my judgment . Rain drops pitter pattering Acid down my cheek. Resolve is growing weak. One slip all it will take. One deadly decision, The last I will make. Eternal mental damage And ruinous thoughts banish. Wanna score myself an ounce, That’ll kill these troubles. And never leave the house. Wanna drink and toke a bong, And just be left alone. Troubles they still remain. Welcome to my world, Here we go again. Welcome beautiful pain, A world filled with disdain. I won’t let this become Reality as I know it. Too far now I’ve come, Way too much to lose. Strength to myself I’ll prove. Why I’m still here today, Amazes me in many ways. My kids, my girl, myself. Life experience my wealth, My happiness my health. A new belief in self. Regaining touch with spiritual, Breaking thoughts habitual, Imposing strength on physical, Meditating on the mystical, Living along lines ethical, Waxing all things lyrical, Probing thoughts metaphysical, Travelling through the ethereal, Change has been gradual, Exercise a new ritual, Living a life minimal. My life I’ll not imperil, My world is now imperial.
