Cruel Words
Cruel words that hurt for hours. Told that your not good enough. Knowing that nothing is good enough. Feeling the anger building inside you. Trying not to scream or see red. Wishing that the pain would just stop. Picking up the broken pieces of dreams. It's just another day where hopes fade. Crying doesn't change it or ease anything. Praying for just one happy Pain free day. Hoping that for a while someone will give Me kind and comforting words. Getting lost in dreams where I can be free, But morning comes taken it away. I feel so numb inside that I can't feel anything. But maybe its best to feel nothing at all. Because then you can save a fragile heart. Smile while feeling empty and lifeless. Sticks and stone won't break my bones But cruel words broken more than my bones.
