Summer Is Fine
A glow in the window lets me know you are waiting for me, and a sweet, slow walk on the moonlit shore is going to be. Sunshine and summer breezes, barefoot walks on the beach under the blue. Sunshine and summer breezes, barefoot walks on the beach under the blue. June turned to July and now we swim all day, June turned to July and now we swim all day. Sunshine and summer breezes, barefoot walks on the beach under the blue. Sunshine and summer breezes, barefoot walks on the beach under the blue. Oh, sweet days of azure skies, on the ocean our sailboat flies. In the shade we rest, and you tell me, I am the best. A picnic in the green, green park for two, and we kiss under that sky of blue. Sunshine and summer breezes, barefoot walks on the beach under the blue. Sunshine and summer breezes, barefoot walks on the beach under the blue. _________________________ August 7, 2018 Written for the contest, Summer Breeze sponsor, John Hamilton Fourth Place
