Tortured Heart
My tortured heart is severed clean, therefore that's why it's become cold and mean. It's lost the one thing it loves most and is haunted by his lonely ghost. He sticks around and lingers long, all I can hear is his heart wrenching song. I try to deny that there is love there, the truth is I really care. I want to see all that you are, it's to late to look back we've come to far. I see a person not many people see, a soul that wants to be set free. Free from the pain that has been unleashed that he cannot bare. I see the pain hiding in your eyes, my love with me there will be no more lies. I'll give you all that I am, the world can say what they want to say I don't give a damn. When I'm with you it's ok to be just me and let all my thoughts and feelings free. Maybe we won't be all that I wanted us to be, together we are what we want to be. No more caring what the world sees.
