Love Among the Stars
When we look above at the nighttime sky We are filled with this great mystique With the untold number of heavenly bodies So foolish to think we're unique If I was a gambler which I certainly am not Could now be a very rich man Betting on the existence of other life forms In this heavenly scale so grand Certainly, I'm not all alone in my thinking Many have thought this before So to all of us bright minded individuals The odds just can't be ignored Unfortunately, my time will end long before A meeting with beings we call aliens Most fantastic event in the annals of mankind To finally discover other civilizations When we look above at the nighttime sky We are filled with this great mystique To think that one day we will finally meet them And discover we're not so unique
