Blooming Bounties
Flowers on the mantle, flowers on the sill Remind us of the loveliness, their presence can fill. Flowers on the roadstand, tempt those passers-by Returning to the comfort of home, people stop and quickly buy. Flowers in the garden, as lovely as can be Whisper their contentment, so obvious to see. Flowers send to loved ones, speak a language of their own Help make that precious story, of the joys that we have known. Flowers at the bedside, of someone taken ill Cheerfully raise the spirit, through their superfluous special skill. Flowers at the graveside, bid a final farewell In our closing statement, to the ones we loved so well. Flowers speak the language that we fondly know as love Which isn’t any wonder, as they are sent from God above. Life is a flower, so precious on this land Be blessed like the flower which fragrances even the crushing hand.
