One Becomes
A psychopath and an empath A toxic combination Destined to end in a blood bath Or Eternal damnation One feels no guilt The other feels their pain One causing the other's petals to wilt While taking all of the rain One wears the others shoes While being kicked in the face One consumes All of the food The other gets the waste One wearing chains The other holds the whip One shall be detained Until it learns it's tricks One not displaying any emotion Completely unaffected One showing full devotion While being disrespected One will finally allow the flower to bloom Even if it isn't until fall One will wear the right pair of shoes Standing their ground during the brawl One then finds their own food to eat Even if the portions are small It will taste twice as sweet Knowing they can have it all One then breaks out of the chains Now the Tigers loose The master kneels down to the ground Hoping for a truce One looks him in his eyes whip held firmly in hand Then walks out the cage no longer under command One could have turned the master into a feast Yet decided to leave strong, not ever a beast.
