Love Lives Simple
i may not have fame or gold, or have earthly riches that i could give, i do not own a fancy home, and you may not prefer just where i live, you set your standards high on what your earthly eyes can see, while in the comfort of my little shack, my father still meets me, the storage of my riches lives within my heart, and what i have with him no one can take, it's impossible to tear us apart, while your putting judgements on every person that walks in your direction, you had better take a closer look at yourself, and what your heart may be rejecting, i'm tired of the judgements that swarm, my small and simple life, the remarks and comments to make me feel less important, cause me pain and strife, when all the people fade away, and i'm sitting all alone, my god reminds me how rich i am in the comfort of my own home, my nights consist of laundry and dishes, and all the children's books i've read, from brushing teeth,, and giving baths, and then tucking my kids into bed, after vacuuming rugs and picking up toys, and mopping all my hardwood floors, i sit back on the couch when the house gets quiet, and then spend my time with the lord, the kisses and hugs, and the snuggles at night, that brighten my everyday, how precious these moments, they come and they go, when we constintly want them to stay, i've come to see with most of the world it's all about what they can gain, never putting others hearts or needs before theirs, even if it means putting others through pain, all the money in the world could never replace this love that's been given to me, i would rather live a simple life of love worth more than all the money the world could ever offer me,
