A Letter To Hd
"A LETTER TO H.D." July 2, 2018. hello H.D. thank you for finding me in the middle of my existence. you know where I came from. it usually hurt to look back but telling you about every detail my life was made up of took away that pain. most never get it, they call it life and that’s an insult. my books always had the answers I needed but with you, my books just took up space. you gave my eye color a brighter shade and made my voice beautifully decorated. as a kid I gathered my chains, as an old man, you took them off one by one. if I told anyone that, they'd just look at me. I've always been something nobody wants and lays off when there is no more work to do in that relationship. if people could just figure out that there is a start to happiness, they'd understand it's after the rain. I put in 35 years and now, I don't know what to do. the path we walked pulled me out of that place I lived in for so long and it's given me a joy. I write and live from an old mind and an old beaten body. I found this late in life but better late than never. I owe it to myself to see it through. I have this feeling inside of me that says, it'll show, it'll show, it'll show. oh how I've come through the murder of myself and figured out the best way to die. to realize you can love without fear, many never accomplish. I have you to thank for that and I look forward to your return so you can see what you’ve given me. don't forget to remember to remember me. your man; E.
