Pluto
Hello my Pluto, so distant and small, Some questioned if you were out there at all, so Passing by planets of far greater size, I Journied the distance and crossed the divide, to See your galactic existence first-hand, and Judge for myself whether planet or man. Weaving through mountains, you gave us a tour. Outer-space questions you let me explore. Words and our cores seemed exactly the same; Sparks flew like comets across the terrain, but Time traveled quickly and to my dismay, Rocket ships carried me far, far away, and While I'll interpret all that I've just learned, Telescopes beckon me since I've returned, for Puzzles of ideas in letters you send -have Taken up orbit inside of my head. I cannot help but look at the stars, and Wonder if one day I'd leave sunny Mars, Give up the sunshine for some kooky rock, and Find a new planet where we could just talk. Spend all my days near that cold, distant stone- Circle 'round Pluto and build a new home. Perfect and possible mission it seems, this Star-crossed adventure is merely a dream, for Saturn and I are both newly engaged In binding pursuits until we meet our age... So, dearest Pluto, it's farewell my friend. I'm Star-gazing 'til I can see you again!
