This World
This World The world we live in Has become so cruel Children are now afraid to go to school No longer there for an education They're fearing for their lives Being robbed of their future By a person in disguise Everyday in the world Someone is getting shot and dying Somewhere a family is mourning and crying Senseless deaths Is what partaking People no longer want to talk it out They are using knives and gun Why can't we go back to when people were having fun Now days they afraid to open the door Because they don't know what's in store What is this world coming to That's the question I ask People are losing their lives and that is facts I pray for this World Its not safe God intervene in this place We are lost Let them know who paid the cost For us to wake up everyday How can we forget to pray I just don't understand man on land To think they do it themselves and not be apart of Gods plan This World is turning and shifting Which way should I go Look to the heavens for God knows Why in this world can't we love one another And face and be a part of a human race why are we judging one another By color instead of looking out for one another Why are we still holding on to the past Knowing that it will not last Why is this World so care free Why not stand up for things like humanity This world this world could be better If we start praying instead of taking matters because when one loses life its sadder Makes you madder Yes it does Why can't we live in a world who represents love Instead of so much hate Why is every minute someone dreams are robbed Continuously hearing sobs From the result of violence Why is this world suffering in silence Why are the police targeting Our young boys Its already a lot on their plates They take lives and blame it on it was a mistake Not all are like that but some are why Target them daily Why not try to help Sometimes it feels like this world is by themselves But then there are times Where we have to pray for mankind Because we all need prayer We have to keep praying for a life that's unfair In this world it could be heaven on earth I can feel it But that kind of feeling comes from the holy spirit What if we reached one a person at a Time What if we gave out hugs instead of hatred What if with life We start helping We started to change What if we stop putting everyone at blame Our future are the children of this world Let's embrace all the boys and girls Let's give them Purpose Let's give them vision Let's help them through Life decisions Let's do this show the community That together we can bring back unity Let's try to decrease rest in peace shirts Put the world back together make it work put prayer ?? back in the school Stand firm on his word Listen sometimes instead of always wanting to be heard just speaking on how I feel With all US together this world could be healed Written by:Concetta Hardnett 7/1/2018
