I will admit; sometimes I dig when he shows up. it lets me know I’m not completely void of a soul… just running on what’s left. as rejection happens, it gets easier to under- stand. as you understand it, you will learn to see that it isn’t you being re- jected, it’s rejection offering you a gift from the gods. for me, it affords the opportunity to write and dip my ribbon in embalming fluid. be available to those that cannot see their own descent. every now and then, there is one interested. the time is 1:03 AM. there was a phone call and it wasn’t the one that is interested.
