The Moment of Despair
The clock once again strikes the moment of despair, my tear stained face buries itself into my pillow. I cannot subject myself to the continuous intolerable torture, the solemn sight “nine seventeenPM” haunting my soul. The moment of despair makes my world stop spinning, all of the blissful good in my life comes crashing down. My tired eyes flaming as I face the clock head on, waiting forever for the time to read “nine eighteenPM”. My fragile heart beats rapidly as I remember the horrid night, when my love left me and blocked me for good, floating away never to return to me again. The wounds left scars in my mind reminding me of the flash of a heart wrenching text message sent one year ago at “nine seventeenPM”, cutting off the supply of my happiness and dignity. Stripping me of all hope and desires showing me my real worth, a text message is all I deserved. I was foolish to pity my non-existent heart. This day at “nine seventeenPM” will always be remembered as my wake up call, my moment of complete and utter despair when I lost my muse and my true heart’s desire.
