I Never Cry
I cross the rain through the desert storms; I never cry, I shall not shed a tear; I swim through ocean waters pour; I never cry, I shed not a tear; Whom am I to rub my eyes; Why? am I so surprised; I can not view the mountain side; As I rub my dry eye I ride; Witnessing the aftermath; Wondering will I relax; I shed not a tear; Why? do I rub my eyes; I never cry; I sit at the funerals of dearly departed; I sit there humbled, hurt and broken hearten; I shall not shed a tear; For they are no longer here; Why does God make us in the first place; Why must we inhabit this earthen vessel-space; This is what's left not the true-self; I am blessed to have known them yet... At the grave site they lower them down; Now I find myself at a frown; I swim through ocean waters pour; I never cry, I shed not a tear; Whom am I to rub my eyes; Why? am I so surprised; I can not view the mountain side; As I rub my dry eye I ride; Witnessing the aftermath; Wondering will I relax; I shed not a tear; Why? do I rub my eyes; I never cry;
