Lioness
She's a lioness a protector and a fighter She guards her offsprings with all her heart and soul She takes bullets without hesitation She jumps in without thinking of possibilities of a sink or die She lives for her family She lives to love and nurturer Then one day the sun didn't shine Her will and her power was tested All armies came against Wounded and cursed her soul For her offsprings it was fear that coated them Living in a shadow of what could happen next But in that state of mind One saw a strength none of them dared to see She chanted and cheered her mother as she saw her lose it She knew that all things come to pass Knew that all happenings had a sense of learning The lioness looked at her own and saw a reflection of her She saw a someone who'd make it if she didn't
