Look Around
I woke up this morning, and looked outside. Ths sun was shining, no place for a cloud to hide. The sun was over the water, to make it appear, like sparkling diamonds, so beautifully clear. I wanted to stay and take it all in, but I needed to get started, let the day begin. I walked to my car, then changed my mind, I decided instead, to treat myself kind. I went back to the water's edge so I could see, the beauty, the riches, that were right in front of me. How can we simply just turn away, when there is so much beauty around us everyday? We all need to take a little more time, to see all that surrounds us, to refresh our mind. We are always running, in a hurry to get somewhere, and yes, we know, we will eventually get there. But if we just took a moment to look around, we would all be amazed at the treasures we found. So take a little extra time, to linger or stay, to appreciate what is there, before it fades away.
