All I want is to feel your grace, And wear it like a divine glove. I only live to serve my Lord, Who composes my life, a lovely chord, And allows me to live a good life. To repay him...that I can’t even afford. But as shadows of grief appear, The song starts to darken... But why have you given me this? To make hate replace my bliss? I knew it would happen, but why now? To make my heart an abyss? Is this just part of your test? Or is this just what you think is best? All I know is that whatever it is... You’re my Lord, I can’t detest. As the shadows start to fade, The song again slightly brightens... But forever, my life will go on. In heaven or in hell, I won’t be gone.
