Love
I look up wondering how I ended up with the girl I dreamt about. It makes the stars so bright it’s wonderful. The magic that sparks from your eyes, Like two stars that collide in the darkness of space. Meeting you has freed all of my emotions. I feel like I’m drowning with out you by my side. I need you like a flower needs the sun. I waited for us in the stars. My eyes faded when i thought you’d never come. My beating heart knew you were out there. I touched your skin and you felt so real. I hold your hand and take deep breaths. Floating in space I knew you were the one. I need you like there is no tomorrow. My body starts to shake every time you let go. Kissing your lips is like kissing for the very first time. Cold tears start to run away from my cheeks. Blinded by my tears I close my eyes, How can love hurt me so much? It’s a knife that’s embedded in me until you’re near, Then the pain disappeared without a trace. I watch you leave and feel the pain once again. How can millions of stars fade from the sky? How can the air I breathe disappear from my lungs? Why is there a void where my heart once was? Then I realise you are the stars. You are the air I breath. And you are my heart.
