Blue
BLUE Feeling a little blue today. Tired, sleepy, blurry-eyed. Lethargic, uncomfortable in my own skin! Would love a great big bed to curl up in. Fresh cotton linen and feather pillows And plenty of time to sleep, rest and rejuvenate. We lead such restricted lives. No time to relax and play. We are governed by the clock. Alarm in the morning Clock out in the afternoon, Super to make in the evening And bed time too soon. I just want to feel rested, refreshed and alive Instead I feel tested and afflicted, fighting to survive. Running a race where there is no goal. Just getting by, I need food for my soul. Jesus my Saviour, come make me whole. Psalm 18 v 2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield[b] and the horn[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.
