Fanta's Eyes (Part 1)
Ken Fanta was just an every day guy, One you would nod to on the street He always had a smile, need not ask why. Someone, all would want to meet. He was happily married, with kids in tow. He considered himself a good man, indeed. He was never afraid to let feelings show, Yet, one, you would never see bleed. See, he was a man who kept things inside. Who knows if that’s truly good or bad? Though, he did have a good sense of pride, Inside, oftentimes, he was sad. I met him one day, there on the street. A conversation ensued, to my surprise. I sensed a disturbance, no longer upbeat, When I stared into Ken Fanta’s eyes. He told me a story of passion, I believe, Not for family, his kids or his wife. First he had said, he wished not to deceive, But a love had entered into his life. He never felt so complete, finally whole, Until he discovered a world far away. In life, he discovered his one true role Of which he partook each day.
