The Boy Haters Club
I was so mad at Danny Riddlemaker in 6th grade that I started a little Boys Hater Club. Reflecting now, it should have been the teacher hater club. When a girl namely me yelled out an answer, I was lambasted, humiliated, punished. When Danny yelled out an answer, he was praised. We used to out yell each other, and she still only punished one of us. Guess which one? I pointed out the unfairness, and I swear the old biddy got even meaner. I started my Little BH Club when I was twelve, and I had four followers. We would sit under a tree during recess, and make up mean things to say and sometimes do to our enemies - the boys. We had a little silver cigar box full of rules which I made myself. And we had officers. I was the President, and the Vice president. The other four were my staff. I hated boys so badly in those days. One by one, my minions dropped out Of the club, as they got “boy-crazy”. It didn’t happen to me though. Boys were way too bossy, and If there was one thing I could not Abide It Was Bossy.
