The Tulips Died
I planted all of my flowers a week or two too early. Mistake. Frost was coming, and I had hundreds of dollars in flowers. Luckily, I had some time, and no common sense. I dug up every flower I had planted the day before, and brought them into the house where my husband who hates living things like flowers in the house lives. So I had to sneak past him, which was easy, as he was asleep in the recliner, in front of a TV which was loudly shouting at a very high level. Three days later the geraniums, the violets, the petunias, the day lilies, the flocks, and the hollyhocks were ready to be put back into the ground, so I did. I am sorry to say the tulips died; I blame the loudness of the TV for that.
